FOREST FIRE PREVENTION SOLUTION

The ‘Monitore’ solution prevents (mainly), detects and can retard forest fires at low cost and using cutting-edge technology: photovoltaic panels, mesh networks (the main idea of this network is the possibility of transmitting messages from one node to another via different paths), sensors (CO², temperature and humidity) and machine learning.

El proyecto es patentable y se ha registrado en el INPI de Portugal. Tras algunos pilotos y dos años de I+D, creamos nuestro propio circuito, es decir, diseñamos la placa de circuito impreso (PCB) para optimizar el consumo de batería y reducir el coste final del equipo.

Finally, a PoC was successfully carried out at the Spanish company Seganosa and we currently have 10 monitoring stations, a coordination station and application and backend softwares ready for field evaluation.
